
Congo Town, Monrovia – The Acting chairman of the Congress for Democratic change Janga Kowo has described the presence of the Liberia National police at the CDC Headquarters as an attack on the party.
It can be recalled, over 300 supplementary EPS officers that were recruited during the administration of former President George weah who were dismissed by the Unity Party-led government were seen at the headquarters of the CDC to stage their plan protest against the Boakai-Koung-administration to settle their benefits.
In a brief chat with reporters few minutes after the arrival of Officers of the Liberia National police at the CDC Headquarters, Chairman Kowo said the deployment of armed men at the headquarters of the major opposition party is a total attack on the former ruling party.
“I witnessed a huge presence of armed officers of the Liberia National Police at the Headquarters of the Congress for Democratic change Headquarter and this is a plan attack on the CDC”. Chairman Janga Kowo stated.
The Acting Chairman of CDC further narrated that during the six years of CDC rule, they never deployed men at the headquarters of the Unity Party but today they are seeing a huge presence of armed men at their Headquarters to disrupt the peace of the country.
He also used the occasion to call on all CDCians to make their presence felt at their Headquarters in defense of the attack by officers of the Liberia National Police.
