Monrovia, Liberia –The Liberian Consumers Watch, a pro-democracy organization comprising nine civil society groups, has debunked recent claims that Aqua Life Mineral Water Company resized its bottles and reduced the quantity of water in its products.

In a statement issued today, the organization condemned the allegations as false and misleading. According to the group, Aqua Life has not changed the size of its bottles or the amount of water they contain. The Liberian Consumers Watch called on the media and the public to avoid spreading unverified information, emphasizing the importance of accurate reporting in maintaining trust and fostering a transparent marketplace.

“A robust and transparent marketplace is essential for our nation’s growth. We must guard against misinformation that undermines reputable businesses like Aqua Life,” said Wilfred Blamo, Chairman of the Liberian Consumers Watch.

The organization reaffirmed its support for Aqua Life’s efforts to uphold product integrity and ethical business practices, urging consumers to recognize the company’s commitment to quality.

Liberian Consumers Watch is dedicated to promoting consumer rights, advocating for equitable market practices, and ensuring accountability in Liberia’s business sector.
