Monrovia, Liberia —The Liberian House of Representatives has announced that former President **Ellen Johnson Sirleaf** will deliver remarks during a special plenary session scheduled for Thursday, March 5, 2026.

The engagement follows a formal invitation extended by House Speaker **Richard Nagbe Koon**, inviting the former Head of State to address members of the Legislature.

In a written response, Sirleaf conveyed her appreciation for what she described as a historic and unprecedented invitation, noting that the occasion would mark a significant moment in the country’s parliamentary record.
