Sinkor, Monrovia – The speaker of the Mano River union youth Parliament Liberia chapter, Mr. Daniel Nills is challenging president Joseph Nyuma Boakai to take concrete actions to tackle illicit drug trafficking.

Speaking at a Town Hall meeting organized by his Excellency Pres. Boakai as part of activities leading to the commemoration of the 177th Independence Day celebration of the nation held at the Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Ministerial complex in Congo Town at the weekend, Speaker Nills intimated 20% of the youthful population are affected from the intake of harmful substance into the country.

He urged the Liberian Leader to take robust actions in order to salvage the next generation of change makers emphasizing the urgency of the drug epidemic.

Meanwhile, the MRUYP Liberia chapter Speaker is however appleaing to the Liberian Leader to construct a modern complex which will host the official offices of all the youth organization in the country.

Daniel Nills appealed is stemmed from evacuations problem confronting several youths groupings due to their reported inability to pay rental fees.
