Washington D.C – After joining participants from over 40 african countries for a youth exchange conference, an alarming questions are being raised as Judi Maitta Dolobah, one of Liberian delegate of the U.S. Department of State’s Pan African Youth Leadership Program (PAYLP), has been reported missing from the program’s venue in the United States for over 24 hours.
The revelation was made public by James P. Kwabo, local program liaison for PAYLP, in a statement released with a tone of deep concern and urgency.
“Judi has been missing for over 24 hours… all efforts to reach her have failed, and her current whereabouts remain unknown,” Kwabo wrote. “We are working closely with the Meridian International Center, the U.S. Embassy in Monrovia, and other partners to find out what happened.”
The PAYLP is a prestigious State Department initiative designed to empower African youth through leadership training, cultural exchange, and community engagement. It brings together emerging leaders from across Africa for a transformative experience aimed at strengthening democratic ideals and civic responsibility.
Dolobah was among the young Liberians selected to represent the country in this highly competitive program. Her disappearance has sparked a wave of anxiety not just among organizers, but within broader diplomatic and educational circles. While it remains unclear whether her disappearance is accidental, deliberate, or otherwise, speculation has already begun over a possible attempt to remain in the United States unlawfully.
“If this situation is in any way related to an attempt to stay behind in the United States, we urge Judi to reconsider and return to the program,” Kwabo said. “Decisions like this can damage not only individual futures but the credibility of such life-changing programs for other young Liberians.”
He appealed to the public for any leads and made a direct plea to Judi: “If you see this, please contact us. It’s not too late. You are not alone, and we are genuinely worried about you.”
The PAYLP community, along with U.S. and Liberian authorities, is intensifying efforts to locate Dolobah, urging anyone with information, however minor, to come forward.
As the search continues, the question remains: Has Judi Dolobah vanished by choice or by chance shkafi.com.ua?
