MONROVIA–The Chief Executive officer of Journey against Violence (JAV)/ Proud Liberian against drugs abused (PLADA ) Evangelist Joshua Milton Blahi has lunched one million signatures rally, aimed as educating the public in tracking down the Narcotic substances and those who be traffickers into the country.
The Liberian clergyman said his decision to solicit the one million signatures from Liberians is to educate the public in preventing the substances abuse and how to track down traffickers from entering into the country as. He promised to move into various communities in educating the public on how to prevent the harmful substances from damaging the youthful population in the Liberian society.
The former Warlord and CEO of Journey against Violence (JAV)/Proud Liberian against drugs abused (PLADA) further indicated that the fight against drugs is not only the burden of Government, instead it requires a holistic efforts especially family of people who have fall victim to the substance abuse.
He therefore stated that the fight against drugs should begin with the community as a means of taking appropriate measure to prevent the spread of the harmful substances.
He emphasized the need for to contribute their one dollars because it stands to save the future of the unborn generation.
Speaking during an acquaintance meeting with Parents of the Disadvantage youths that are undergoing rehabilitation at his residence in Lower Margibi county, Evangelist Blahi also called on the Government of Liberia to put in measures to prevent the spread of drugs in the country as well as cautioning the both Director of the Liberia Drugs Enforcement Agency Colt, Abraham Kromah and his Deputy to settle the internal wrangling within the DEA.
