Land Dispute: Conflict Looms Across Wroto Town Community as Montserrado District #9 Rep. Frank Saah Foko Vows to Resist illegal Claim

MONROVIA–As conflict looms over 3,000 acres of land affecting several communities in district nine Montserrado county, the Lawmaker of the area Frank Saah Foko has threaten to resist any attempt by “Gbanga Sub- Burd Estates” to embark on survey process for the so-called land.

There are ongoing Land Disputes in the District between residents of the district and Gbanga Sub_Burd Estate who are claiming to owed half of the district which includes 21th street Sinkor, Gbaga Town, Fiama, Writota Town and part of District Number Ten.
Despite the claim, the party which is allegedly supported by the Liberia Land Authority Boss, haven’t provided legitimate documents for the property.

Representative Foko furthered that he been a direct Representative of the people of the district, he won’t sit and allow the people of Writota Town and other affected communities of his district to be illegally remove by Gbanga Sub_ Burg, calling on the relivent authorities to respect the rules of law amid the situation.

Speaking when he received pettion from residents of Writota Town over the weekend in District Number Nine (9) Representatives Foko claimed that there are big hands behind the removal of thousands of citizens of his District but are using others and hide behind to get rid of innocence Liberian.

He disclosed that the fight against his people started far back when his former Boss the Late Representatives Munnah Bennoh Nyomble was representing the district but she stood firm and resisted the illegal removal of constituents.

The Montserrado county District nine legislator stated that his fight with the people of affected areas in his district is to protect the future of the kids and the unborn childrens because if he sit and allow the illegal removal of thousands of Liberian from their properties there will be no place for the younger ones to start and build their future.

The CDC Stewart further that he will engage the office of President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, the Leadership of the House of Representatives the Liberia Land Authority and other relivent authorities to found amicable solutions to avoid future conflicts in the country.
