Former Warlord Gen. Butt Nicky Wants UP Chairman, Luther Tarpeh appointment Withdrawn Over Corruption Allegation

MONROVIA–Former War_Lord turned Evangelist Joshua Milton Blahi is calling on President Joseph Nyuma Boakai to recalled the appointment of unity party chairman Reverend, J Luther Tarpeh as chair on the Board of the National Port Authority.

It can be recalled President Joseph Nyuma Boakai appointed the unity party chairman J, Luther Tarpeh as chair of the Board of the National Port Authority following controversy over misappropriation of five thousands united state dollars initiated for the celebration of president Boakai’s inauguration across all seventy three districts in the country.

During the disbursement, chairman Tarpeh was accused of abstracting $US1,000 for undisclosed reason, but investigation conducted by the president concluded that he was exonerated.

Despite the outcome, Evangelist Joshua Milton Blahi insist that the UP chairman be removed from the Board of NPA for the inauguration fund, which he believes will be a good start of combating corruption understand the watch of a transparent Leadership.

The former Warlord who is also a Staunch supporter of the RESCUE MISSION furthered that the head of state should with immediate effect begin the fight of corruption with his chairman who’s widely tackle with allegations.

The Liberian clergyman maintained that the withdrawal of Chairman Tarpeh from the NPA Board will signal the enforcement in eradicating the nightmare in the Liberia society.

Meanwhile, Evangelist Joshua highlighted what he consider as missteps in the Executive branch of government, specially the inconsistency been observed during the appointment process.

As new as the Boakai-Koung administration, Mr. Blahi believes that there are some hidden hands within the Executive Mansion hindering the effort of the president.
