Court Gives “Gracious Ride” Management Five Days Ultimatum to provide Legal Documents for it’s Vehicles

Temple of Justice–The management of Gracious Ride has been given a five-day ultimatum by Justice Yusuf Kaba of the Supreme Court of Liberia to produce all vehicle-related legal documentation.

This demand comes just days after the vehicles, which belonged to former Executive Chief of Protocol Nora Finda Bundoo, were taken into custody by the Presidential Assets Recovery Team and stored at the General Services Agency premises before being released. Nonetheless, the most recent ruling was reached on Monday, April 1, 2024, after a meeting with attorneys from Gracious Ride’s legal team and the Assets Recovery Team. The team claimed that Madam Bundoo had taken money from the Liberian government’s Ministry of State for Presidential Affairs, which had been utilized to buy the aforementioned automobiles.

The Asset Recovery Team Chair, Cllr. Edwin Kla Martin, stated in a Monday interview with judicial media that the petitioner’s capacity was contested on the grounds that he lacks the legal standing to prosecute the case. However, Cllr. Martin described the complaint as fraudulent and deceptive, submitted before the Supreme Court Justice in Chamber by the legal team of Gracious Ride Management against the Presidential Asset Recovery Team.
