Monrovia, Liberia – ‎The Press Union of Liberia (PUL) has announced several key developments aimed at advancing its operations, including securing a new office space, obtaining a land deed, and preparing for a major anniversary fundraiser.

‎At a membership meeting held August 8, 2025, on Clay Street, Central Monrovia, and chaired by PUL President Julius Kullie Kanubah, members were informed that the Union has rented a new office on 9th Street, Sinkor, at an annual cost of just over \$5,000. The relocation from the current Clay Street premises is expected to take place next week.

‎In a significant milestone, the leadership also presented the official deed for the Union’s property in Sinkor, handed over by former PUL President Charles Coffee. With full ownership confirmed, the Union can now move ahead with construction plans for its long-awaited headquarters without any lingering disputes.

‎The anniversary celebration, scheduled for September this year, will serve as a fundraising drive to kickstart the building project. Meanwhile, the positions of Secretary General and Assistant Secretary General remain vacant, with consultations ongoing to fill them. President Kanubah also shared financial updates from the Union’s May program and highlighted the Membership Committee’s continued work on digital member registration and dues collection.
