Monrovia, Liberia – President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., has announced additional appointments to key government institutions, further solidifying his administration’s commitment to fostering national development and international partnerships. The latest appointments, which take immediate effect, focus on the National Oil Company of Liberia (NOCAL) and Liberia’s trade and investment representation in Canada and Philadelphia.
Appointments Announced:
National Oil Company of Liberia (NOCAL)
Cllr. Gloria Musu-Scott – Appointed as Acting Chairperson of the Board.
Office of Trade and Investment Representative of Liberia
Mrs. Jallahqueena Konneh – Appointed as Trade and Investment Representative of Liberia in Canada.
Madam Gurly T. Gibson Schwarz – Appointed as Trade and Investment Representative of Liberia in Philadelphia.
In his announcement, President Boakai urged the newly appointed officials to exhibit “diligence, commitment, integrity, professionalism, and loyalty” in their respective roles as they work to advance Liberia’s interests both domestically and abroad.
The appointments reflect President Boakai’s focus on strengthening strategic sectors of the economy and enhancing Liberia’s global trade relations.
