Kakata, Margibi Co. — Lastest development from Margibi’s capital has revealed that, more than 100 inmates have dramatically escaped from Kakata Central Prison, leaving a massive security crisis in the County. “The jailbreak, which unfolded early Sunday evening, saw prisoners overpowering the guards and injuring several in the process” eye witnesses told reporters moment after the incident.

Some of the those who witnessed the process further reported a chaotic scene as inmates surged through the Carter High community. Archie Gono, a local resident who spoke to a reporter of Classic FM noted that the escapists from the prison succeed in breaking the jail due to the presence of a lesser number of correction officers at the scene.

Mr. Gono and others have same time expressed the concerns of insecurity of their surrounding adding that criminal rate may likely increase due to the saga.

The situation remains dire as local authorities and community members struggle to contain the fallout. Despite numerous inquiries, prison officials have yet to release a formal statement regarding the escape or the condition of the injured guards.

Local security forces are actively pursuing the fugitives, but as of now, the community remains on high alert with the whereabouts of the majority of the escapees still unknown. The incident has sent shockwaves through the region as efforts to restore order continue.
