LRA Surpasses 2024 Revenue Target, Collects Over $692 Million

Paynesville, Monrovia– The Commissioner General of the Liberia Revenue Authority (LRA), Dorbor Jallah, has announced that the authority has exceeded its 2024 revenue target by collecting over $692 million, with an additional $10 million currently under reconciliation.

Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, Commissioner General Jallah expressed pride in the collective efforts that contributed to this milestone achievement.

“This success reflects the commitment and collaboration of all stakeholders, including taxpayers, staff, revenue-generating agencies, and development partners,” Commissioner Jallah remarked.

He praised taxpayers for their compliance and contributions, describing them as the backbone of the LRA’s success. He also commended LRA staff for their dedication and professionalism, which enabled the authority to surpass the $690 million target.

Commissioner Jallah reaffirmed the LRA’s commitment to strengthening Liberia’s financial systems and enhancing revenue generation to support national development.
