Breaking News:Conflict Clouds GTMS Liberia Boss Amid Work Permit Scandal

By: The People News Online

Aminata Bangura, Managing Director of Global Tracking and Maritime Solutions (GTMS) Liberia Inc., is caught in a growing conflict of interest controversy.

GTMS, a Sierra Leone–based company operating in Liberia, reportedly employs several foreign nationals who are legally required to obtain work permits before engaging in employment within the country.

It has now emerged that CETIS—the company contracted by the Government of Liberia to print work permits—has links to Madam Bangura, raising serious questions about transparency in the issuance process, particularly regarding GTMS’s foreign staff.

Montserrado County Senator Abraham Darius Dillon has meanwhile renewed calls for a comprehensive audit of the work permit issuance system to ensure accountability and fairness.

Details will follow in our subsequent publication.
