BONG COUNTY, Liberia — Prince Kermue Moye, Senator of Bong County, has announced that his family will transfer ownership of the Sumo Moye Memorial Technical College and its facilities to Bong County University, in a move aimed at strengthening higher education in the county.
Speaking on the “Deeping Deep” program on Super Bongese Radio, Senator Moye said the decision was reached in agreement with his family and reflects their long-standing commitment to supporting education for Bong County residents and Liberians at large.
He noted that the formal handover will take place at a later date, while congratulating Bong County University on recently attaining full university status and receiving its charter.
The donation is expected to boost the institution’s infrastructure and academic capacity as it transitions into a fully chartered public university.
