The Armed Forces of Liberia (AFL) is launching a recruitment drive for qualified Liberians to join the Liberian Army starting January 2026. Here’s a breakdown of the eligibility criteria and application process:
Eligibility Criteria:
- Citizenship: Must be a Liberian citizen
- Age: Between 18 and 35 years old
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent (WAEC/WASSCE required)
- Physical and Mental Fitness: Must be physically and mentally fit
- No Criminal Record: Must have no criminal record
Required Documents:
- Identification: At least one of the following documents is required:
- National ID Card
- Voter ID Card
- Birth Certificate
- Liberian Passport
- Certificate of Naturalization
- Additional Requirements:
- Two passport-size photos with a white background
- Health Certificate issued within the last 3 months
- Any additional certificates (Diploma, etc.)
Recruitment Regions and Centers:
The recruitment drive will cover various regions, including:
- Central Region: Montserrado (Monrovia – Recruitment Center), Grand Bassa, Margibi
- Western Region II: Grand Cape Mount, Bomi (Tubmanburg – Recruitment Center), Gbarpolu
- Northern Region: Lofa, Bong (Gbarnga – Recruitment Center), Nimba
- Southeastern Region: Grand Gedeh (Zwedru – Recruitment Center 1), River Gee, Maryland (Harper – Recruitment Center 2), Grand Kru, River Cess, Sinoe
