By The $738 million national budget for the fiscal year 2024 has been adopted by the House of Representatives.
The budget was approved by the House of Representatives through a roll call vote for the first time.
The House of Representatives’ intense budget debate on Thursday, April 25, 2024, culminated in the budget’s adoption. However, the Liberian Senate is expected to pass the budget on Tuesday April 30, 2024.
