Monrovia – Reports reaching The People News* suggest that Madam Aminata Bangura, Managing Director of Global Tracking and Maritime Solutions (GTMS) Liberia Inc., is entangled in alleged tax evasion and other questionable business dealings.
Benthol Pharmaceuticals, another entity reportedly linked to Madam Bangura, is accused of undercutting cargo tracking fees and under-declaring taxes due to the Government of Liberia through the Liberia Revenue Authority (LRA).
Sources say the revelations raise serious concerns about transparency and accountability, especially given Madam Bangura’s alleged ties to CETIS, the company currently printing work permits for the Ministry of Labor.
Observers are now questioning how transparent CETIS can be in its dealings, particularly regarding foreign employees associated with GTMS and Benthol Pharmaceuticals.
More details are expected in The People News’ subsequent publication.
