Morning News: U.S to Revise New Visa Policy for Liberia

Monrovia, Liberia – The United States Embassy Near Monrovia has announced plan for new visa policy.

In a facebook publication issued on August 8, 2024, the US Embassy in Monrovia disclosed that the intent of the the new visa service transitioning adequately Serve its applicants.

According to the Embassy, August 16, 2024, all nonimmigrant and immigrant visa appointment services will be temporarily suspended until the new website is online.

“After August 16: The ustraveldocs.com website and customer service will no longer be available. We will announce the new website link for making visa appointments when it is open to the public.”

The release however noted that All previously scheduled visa appointments for dates after August 16 remain valid

meanwhile, individual who have or planning to schedule a visa appointment on or after August 16, have been caution to visit the U.S. Embassy website regularly for all latest information about the announced new appointment scheduling website: lr.usembassy.gov/visas.
