Liberia: Asset Recovery Task Force Ordered to Continue “Gracious Ride” Vehicles Investigation

TEMPLE OF JUSTICE–The Supreme Court of Liberia has ordered the Assets Recovery Tasks Force to continue its investigation of the “Gracious Ride” vehicles belonging to former president Weah’s Chief of protocol Finda Bondoo.

Liberia Justice In Chambers His honor Yussif D. Kaba gives the management of Gracious Ride five days ultimatum to produce title documents proofing legal ownership.
moving forward, the five days ultimatum from the court has expired with the vehicles management headed by Francis T. Blamo failing to meet the court demand.
“By Detective of His honor Yussif D. Kaba, Associate Justice presiding in Chambers, and considering the attached communication from the respondent, you are hereby inform that the Justice has declined to issue the writ prayed for by the Petitioner, reserving the right to the respondent to proceed in keeping with laws.” the court document stated.

It can be recalled that the assets recovery team constituted by president Boakai and headed by Former LACC boss Cllr. Edwin Kla Martin in March 2024, arrested all gracious ride vehicles. the team believes that the many yellow taxi Owned by Former President Weah Chief of Protocol, Finda was bought by by tax payers money.
