Monrovia, Liberia- Residents of the New Georgia community in Caldwell, woke up early Monday morning to a shocking news of fire outbreak in a home that claim the lives of five family members.
According to eyewitnesses accounts, the accident occured Sunday night when the resident of a lady known as Sue Tokpah experienced an uncontrollable fire leaving she, her two girls children and two grandchildren burnt.
It is reported that out of Seven person in the house, two manners (boys) narrowly managed to escaped death through the fire while efforts to save the lady and four other girls by community dwellers yielded no results.
Circumstances that led to the fire outbreak resulting to the pitiful demised of the five family members has not been known.
The bodies were laid to rest following examination by Liberian National Police and National Disaster management Team.
Meanwhile, the National Desaster Management Agency, and the Liberia National Police who visited the scene have not been able to identify the caused of the fire.Mr. Abu Kamara, representative of district fifteen declared 24 hours mourning and suspending all campaign activities in response to the accident.
