Accra – The government of Ghana has deported 562 Nigerien beggars who were on the streets of Accra back home.
The move, in collaboration with the Embassy of Niger, saw the first batch landing in Yamai city.
In total, some 1,000 beggars including children are expected to be deported in the coming days.
