Temple of Justice, Monrovia – What appears to be a legal battle between President Joseph Boakai’s Assets Recovery Team and Finda Bundoo’s Gracious Ride will finally come to an end next month, as the honorable Supreme Court of Liberia has set aside July 4, 2024 as a day for hearing.
The higher court issued the communication to Brig/General Amos B. Kesseh Dickson Sr. and his Deputy, informing them of the scheduled Trial.
“You are hereby commanded to notify the party in the entitled case of action or their legal representative(s) that the Honorable Supreme Court of the Republic of Liberia will hear Argument in said case on the 4th day of July A.D. 2024, at the hour of 11:00 a.m., and that they are cited to be present for same.” A communication from the Supreme Court indicated.
The two parties have been in court since March 28, 2024, when Francis T. Blamo, the quote unquote owner of the Gracious Ride company’s vehicles, predominantly taxis, took the government asset recovery taskforce to court for unlawful seizures of his vehicles.
