Monrovia – Former Minister of Finance and Development Planning Minister Mr. Boima S. Kamara accuses Minister Samuel Tweah of threatening him over his recent analysis on “Liberia’s increasing debt stock”.
News of Minister Samuel Tweah’s reported threats came a day after Mr. Kamara’s article was published by several media outlets, including The People News.
The former Finance Minister, in his article asserts, among other things, that there exists “a remarkably high rate of growth in public debt within 2 years 3 months of the current administration, compared with post-HIPC 7 years of the Sirleaf administration that ended in 2017”.
Surprisingly, Mr. Kamara, through a social media post minutes ago, informed the public that Minister Samuel Tweah called and issued him “unwarranted threats”, something he warned Mr. Tweah never to repeat. (Full text below)
